The theory is that if someone names the 7 dwarves they will say "bashfull" last.............or if they can't think of that "last" dwarf more then likely it will be bashfull..............I didn't tell it well

I remember mine from a commercial long long ago- so I always say them in this order:

"Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc"

It had someone asking if people could remember the names and this is the order they said them in, over and over. As you can see, it really stuck with me

Countless times I have done this at small parties and gatherings and most of the time I drop jaws:

I secretly but in full view of everyone write down the name "Bashfull" on a large piece of paper...then ask someone(or a couple) to name the 7 dwarves. When they have named the first 6 and are struggling to remember the 7th I hold up the card








Yes, I do look a little silly when they do remember Bashfull.....but so far, that only happens a fraction of the time.

Funny... I always list them in their official order: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. So Dopey is always last in my lineup.

That is exactly how I remember them, same commercial! Was it a McDonald's commercial or something? That is too funny!
