    Aw, go (Google) yourself!

Have you ever googled your own name just to see what it would come up with? I did this on a lark today and the results are hilarious.

So far, I'm a hollywood gossip writer, a mother from Louisville, and a kidnap victim/runaway from Oregon who was found alive in Missoula, Montana.

Google yourself and share the funny results!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

For my maiden name, there is only me. I had an uncommon last name. three results, all me.

My married name is HUGELY popular so I am pretty much everything. I miss being an original

Nothing comes up for my name But I found E-ticket's name is a character in a novel...so..that's kinda freaky!
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

I've done this in the past...apparently some author shares my name...I think I did that without my middle though.

Besides my webpage, it's got my imdb film credits, and my professional listing through Mandy.com (film/television staffing resource).

No one else shares my name. I kinda like it that way.

    Re: Aw, go (Google) yourself!

I haven't done it in awhile so I just did it again. Got some rather startling results. First of all, I share a name with a B-Movie director so his stuff comes up a lot.
But... enter Tom Chaney into Google and here is the THIRD result:

Gosh! How often are you guys looking me up!?

I also share the name of the villian in the film True Grit. At the bottom of the first Google page is a link that contains a quote from the film that always amuses me:
"I won't rest until Tom Chaney is barking in Hell."

"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

    I'm a Railroad in Brazil.
    I'm also a Sicilian Princess.
My name is also used by an Actress, Writer, Producer named Delores Taylor. Her credits are all from the 70's in movies about Billy Jack. What's funny is that Taylor is my mom's maiden name. kinda creepy.
Well, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, just like me.

Googling my married name brings up college athletics statistics. But googling my maiden name brings up- me. Mentions of me on my brother's various websites and blogs, the first webpage I ever made on geocities, and my placing at National History Day 1997 in Washington D.C.

    Not very exciting

Now if you google my twin brother, there are 57000 hits- all of them him.

Wow, who knew I was so many things? I guess I'm an overachiever!

    So far, I'm:

    (in my maiden name)
    - a props director
    - a research director with Standard and Poor's
    - an HR manager
    - a high school teacher
    - a mother of a premature baby

and that's just the first page.... however, the search for me with my married name doesn't bring up anything...
