    Park City, Utah pics

This past Friday I woke up at 3:30am, caught a 6am flight from SFO, landed in Salt Lake City by 9am(one hour difference) and was at Park City Mountain boarding by 10am.

A free lift ticket is given if a same day boarding pass is provided.

Didn't take many photo's this day. Met a friend around 4 and we did some night skiing till 7:30. Looking down at Park City.

Because of the Sundance Film Festival and late planning we stayed in Salt Lake City. For those who don't know the area, here is a short video showing why getting from SLC to Park City is so easy. Only 30 miles to resorts. SLC is snug against the Wasatch Mountains.

Saturday we woke up to blue skies and warmer weather. A perfect day. We decided to board The Canyons.
Short ride from parking lot to base of mountain,

Part of The Canyons is surrounded by an upscale residential neighborhood. The groomed runs have a video game feel by constantly going in tunnels and over and under bridges.

Grainy pics taken from video camera.

    Great conditions,

    Last run of the day

Utah really does have the best snow on the planet.

Scary as it is, I almost did some damage. At the end of the day on our last run I hit a tree and ripped my jacket getting a nice bruise and small cut on my arm. Its a good 7 inch tear but better a jacket than my face.

Yeah, but chicks dig scars! And then you'd have a least one thing going for you...

Great stuff Duck, although I prefer the rainy streets of Disneyland to the snowy mountains of Utah any day. The videos are what I enjoy the best of your trip reports.
