    March of Dimes animal cruelty?

I've been trying to find a straight answer to this for about a year now. I've heard some disturbing stories about how March of Dimes uses horribly cruel animal experiments in their research (the details of which I won't mention here). However, most of the sites I find these allegations on are related to PETA in some way (the others seem to be just free user created sites). Now, I typically don't trust PETA as far as I can throw them, but looking at these claims, I'd actually like some proof that March of Dimes doesn't do this before donating to them again (my workplace does that plushie drive every year). Does anyone know of a non-PETA site that can either confirm or deny these claims once and for all?

I don't have any info for you regarding testing that the March of Dimes does, honestly I haven't heard anything about this. They are a charity I support with all my heart and the research they do has saved so many lives. If you ever want to know if you research money has gone to a good cause this site is a great example how their research has made a difference in a childs life.

I too, have heard these allegations about the March of Dimes. I have not researched the truthfulness. They are not on my list of charities that we donate to. Only because there are SO many that we can choose from.

but i think a lot of those charity programs test on animals. I'm sure if we look up other organizations, we'd find something. PM me, i'm interested in what you've found, you know the stuff you cant post on here

I've actually looked up the PCRM on Wikipedia, and on there it says they receive a lot of funding from PETA. I'll have to check out the Anti-vivisection site, thanks.
