    I want a doughnut

    That is all.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

    Uhhhhh.....

Tui, somehow I knew you'd be one to appreciate the absurdity of this thread.

I still want a doughnut. Stupid Twix, making me want doughnuts...

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

OMG, Krispy Kreme original glazed donuts, fresh and warm still from the oven. Sounds like lunch to me.

    Re: I want a doughnut

There's a wonderfully evil doughnut shop on Newport Blvd, just beyond Harbor like a block or two (not far from ConRev, if you know where that is). Anyway, very high quality doughnuts - the kind that don't leave a waxy feeling on the surface of your mouth.

And - don't shoot me - I'm not all that enamoured by Krispy Kremes. I can eat about 3/4 of one, and I appreciate the whole warm doughnut thing, but they're just too sugary.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Are you talking about Oh Those Donuts? It's just north of Grand Prix tire store by the Chevron station! They are the best EVER! If you're not talking about them, you should go there instead! Best donuts!

    Re: I want a doughnut

i have found that since i got my deep fryer, doughnuts from bakeries just are nowhere near as good as the ones i can make. it's really worth the trouble to do it from scratch once you get the hang of it.
