Re: The newest member of our family: Help us name her.

I thought for sure she looked like a Trixie. Oh well. Trixie was also in the running for what to name our kitty almost three years ago (!) along with Sheena, Holly, and Buttons. She ended up being a Chloe.

Weird that you should resurrect this thread now. Sadly, Stella's owners finally went door to door after over 3 weeks and asked if anyone had found a gray tabby cat. I had to give her back.

Oh, I'm so sorry, but so glad for them that they found her. I thought that she looked too "looked after" and well fed to be owner-less.
you did a great thing by looking after her, and giving her up

    what was her real name??

I did too, and was very surprised when no one claimed her when we went through the neighborhood asking.

    She was really Violet.

    Aww.

I'm glad she was reunited with them, though.

Lucky for them, you had brought her home (well, your hubby did! ha!) and gave her a good temporary home until they found her. I'd be crushed if my kitties disappeared. You did good!! Did you tell them that we voted, and that Violet wasn't one of the names we chose?
