Possible Truck Driver Strike??

I heard a rumor from a neighbor that's a truck driver. He said that April 7th and 8th, there could be a possible truck driver strike to protest the price hike in Diesel. I don't know if it will even happen, but if it does, it could effect your local grocery stores.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

Nope, but it makes sense given how much the truck drivers are hurting with the price of gas.

It would stop business and maybe the higher ups will notice we're hurting and thus make gas prices lower.

If it was to happen they would probably listen for a month, then hike them up again!

I'm sure it's possible...hopefully not bc that's what my husband does. He hauls cars all over the SE US. Toyota, Lexus, VW, Mercedes, and Nissan all give a fuel surcharge to the drivers for the freight, but it's just not enough. The prices are ridiculous on diesel. The companies they haul for should be giving a higher fuel surcharge and prices need to come down or no one is going to be able to afford to drive anywhere.
