My Awesome Weekend! (3/29-3/30, with pictures!)

So, I celebrated my 20th birthday on Saturday, 3/29, (my real bday is 3/24) with a bunch of my family and friends. My grandparents hosted it. There was a lot of good food (including a yummy clam pasta that my grandma made) and a bunch of gaming! The three top games of the night where (1) Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii, (2) Rockband on the Xbox 360, and (3) I'm the Boss, a boardgame. I had a lot of fun just hanging out with everyone. Here are pictures!

Of course, I *HAD* to have a Disney Princess cake!! Vanilla cake with raspberry filling. So delicious!

On Sunday 3/30, Derek and I took a little drive down to Monterey and the Fisherman's Wharf to celebrate our 4-year-anniversary. (Our actual anniversary is 3/27 but Derek had finals over the week.) We left later than usual, and we spent most of the time walking around Cannery Row and the Wharf. We had a late lunch on the Wharf at The Old Fisherman's Grotto. I had wanted to do the 17-mile drive, also. But that didn't happen, seeing as by the time we were done walking around, it was almost 5PM and I didn't want to be home. Oh well. I wasn't too sad about it; we'll be back in a couple of weeks' time anyway! Here are some pictures. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of us together from today! lol

I remember the Wharf so well and going to the same restaurant, The Old Fisherman's Grotto ions ago. I'm surprised it's still there!

Yes, the Old Fisherman's Grotto is our favorite restaurant to go to whenever we hit up Monterey. I don't see it going out of business anytime soon; it seems really popular!

I loved my cake. My mom had called me up the morning of the party and asked if I wanted a Tinkerbell cake or a Princess cake. Since Tinkerbell would have been a lemon cake, I choose the Princess one. hehe
