    Rachael Ray: International Donut Terrorist?

Laughing my butt off over the big stink this "controversy" has caused.

Dunkin Donuts actually pulling the ad is even funnier, in a pathetic, wimpy sort of way.

I like this little spoof ad HolyTaco.com came up with -

It boggles the mind how people come up with these things. Paranoid much?

Blame ultraconservative nitwit blogger Charles Johnson for it:
    Mainstreaming Terrorism to Sell Donuts

He's even tried to come up with the excuse that certain groups consider the keffiyeh a symbol of solidarity with all oppressed peoples (apparently he doesn't consider Palestinians to be oppressed people, and equates their struggle for justice with terrorism).

Michelle Malkin threw fuel onto his Bic lighter of a blogpost.

Crooks & Liars points out that, using the stellar logic of Michelle Malkin, Little Green Footballs, and their stables of buffoons, Meghan McCain and the US & British militaries are terrorist sympathizers too:
“…[the] Keffiyeh is also called a Shemagh and is used by almost every military force in the Middle East right now. You can buy it at most Army-Navy stores and is very popular amongst British, Australian, and US troops. It is not only used by the troops to help cover their mouths and faces during sand storms, but worn as a scarf to prevent suburn [sic] along the back of their necks during the day.”

So what say you, Charles Johnson and Jesse, er…Michelle Malkin? Will you accuse the troops of sympathizing with the enemy and “mainstreaming terrorism”?
Malkin and Johnson just step in Stupid every day, don't they? And instead of cleaning it off their shoes like normal people, they wipe it all over their faces.

I like how Ed Darrell of Millard Fillmore's Bathtub wrapped it all up.

I can't decide which is worse. The idiotic outcry over her fugly scarf, or the fact that anyone would hire Rachael Ray to pitch their product. Lame on both counts.

    Yeah, that's right.
