Zits, Get Fuzzy, Mutts, For Better or Worse, Drabble, Fox Trot, Opus and a few others who's name I can't remember right now. I save the comics for last as they are the best part of the Sunday Paper. I don't get the daily paper so I read the comics on line.
I seldom read comic strips anymore, even though I'm a fan. I don't subscribe to any newspapers, and that's how I was used to reading them, and then of course paging through the Sunday Color comic Strip section.
When i was growing up I would read them all the time. Our local newspaper only had a half a page of daily comic strips. My favorites of the favorites are in Blue.
Of the regulars, Peanuts ~ always the favorite, and at the top of the section Beetle Bailey
Henry Dennis the Menace
Sunday papers had a few others that I liked, including:
B.C. Wizard of Id
Hi and Lois
Other dailies came in and out:
Hagar the Horrible Garfield U S Acres Far Side Calvin and Hobbes
Frank and Ernest
2nd Calvin and Hobbes
7th- Pearls Before Swine
1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Following the sad end of The Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes (I have all of the books of both), only Dilbert comes anywhere near to tickling me.
But is it just me, or is Dilbert not as consistantly funny as it used to be?
I read so many comics on line, it's a wonder I have time to do anything else.
But first of all - all time best ever for me Calvin and Hobbs. How I miss it
Now, in no particular order I read daily:
Pearls Before Swine
Rose Is Rose
Foxtrot (Sunday only strip)
For Better Or For Worse
