In need of a few hundred Disneyland trips! And by the end of the springtime.
The last movie I saw was the Toy Story 3D Double Feature, which no matter how many times I've seen both of them, they never get old. Really, the only reason I saw this was not only because it's Toy Story 1 & 2 and I love both of them but because I wanted to see the new trailer for Toy Story 3 and A Christmas Carol the way they are suppose to be seen, in 3D. Both look good and funny and am going to be seeing both, possibly at midnight shows if they have them (which I don't see why they won't)
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS -- I saw it in 3D Imax and it was SO MUCH FUN! I laughed throughout. Really great, entertaining film.

I'm currently watching St Elmo's Fire on cable.
Well ridiculous as it may seem, 'Up' was only released in UK cinemas today. And I was first in line with my 3D glasses on!
I could wax lyrical for pages but I'll sum it up simply...
WOW!
I laughed. I cried. I was completely captivated.
Trust Pixar!

Since we are 1 1/2 months away from my Goson going back home to South Carolina after being here for 5 months, plus the fact that his mother gave away all of his Disney Animation Feature Films Videos (thinking they were going to get them all again on DVD, which never happened) we are currently having a Disney Feature Animation every night. We are watching all the movies I have on DVD (and some on VHS) in order. We started Sunday with Snow White, then Pinnochio, Bambi, Fantasia and last night Melody Time. We have about 20 to go. He is having the time of his life as he loves Disney.
Peter Pan Forever!!! I Will Never Grow Up.
Thank You Poisonedapples
Because of Universal Horror Nights I watched 'My Bloody Valentine', the original and the remake.
The original is campy and has almost every classic horror movie element in it. The remake, because of the 3D factor, has a lot of gore and good scares. From the two I enjoyed the remake much more.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was great. The food effects were awesome. Flint was hilarious, along with his father and Earl.
The moment at the end was touching too.
Home away from Home.
My wife rented X-Men Origins: Wolverine the other night. I can see why critics were disappointed, it was a slightly empty revenge flick that didn't always convince me of the motivations behind certain characters actions. Nevertheless I still enjoyed it. The action was good, I think Hugh Jackman is fantastic in this role, and Liev Schrieber as Sabertooth looks like he is really having fun. Not as good as the first two films (I didn't see the third one yet) but I was entertained sufficiently that I think it would have been fun to have seen in the theater.
Star Trek: First Contact - Watched the second flick in my new Blu-ray set. Looks great, still entertaining.
Coraline - A friend came over to watch movies and do laundry at my place. She picked this and the next one from my shelf to watch. I'd told her many times she'd love it, so we found out tonight. From the minute she was Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders' credits at the top of the movie, that made it a sure thing she love it. But as the film unfolded, she totally fell in love with the movie as a whole.
3:10 to Yuma - She'd never seen this either. She loves westerns too, and I hadn't seen it in a while. She loved this one too, tho' she liked Coraline better.
Couple's Retreat!!! And it was AWESOME!!!! I love Vince Vaughn!!!!

toy story 1 and 2 in 3d. the 3d wasn't really necessary at all for this movie. i love both movies though.
Paranormal Activity
loved it! truly scary! i'm picky about scary movies b/c they just don't scare me, just a bunch of stupid tricks. the only movies i consider scary are The Exorcist and The Shining. Paranormal Activity is definitely one of the best horror films i've seen that left me in suspense, great film for the halloween season!
I watched Lars and the Real Girl this week, which was one of the sweetest movies I've maybe ever seen. A very good reminder to be compassionate and not judgmental.
