Valkyrie -- I would definitely recommend it. Surprisingly suspenseful given the fact you know how it ends. And yes, I thought Tom Cruise gave a good performance.

Hmm, now I am interested. I thought the 'know the ending' part would ruin it.

Hold That Ghost & Keep 'em Flying - I got myself Abbott and Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection and had these two flicks playing in the background of my monitor yesterday and today while I worked on my computer. I'd seen Ghost before but Keep 'em Flying is new to me! Pretty entertaining a tad distracting to have while at work, but it's making the rest of the year fly faster and funner.

BENDER'S GAME -- I wasn't hugely happy with the first two Futurama movies as they lacked in funny, but this one was great! One more Futurama movie to go...

The Bucket List- what a great movie. Two of my favorite actors and they meshed so well together.

The book was a sob-fest! I'm afraid I'll be a mess at the movie.

I rewatched Robert Zemeckis' last good movie and that was CONTACT from way back 1997. It's actually the very first DVD I ever purchased at the whopping price of $19.99. I actually quite love this movie.

That was actually a very good movie... up until the ending. It was like they couldn't figure out how to end it.

The ending was a bit of a U-Turn I agree. It just didn't feel like it was necessary to reach the courts, as the evidence clearly was there.

I'm seeing that today (2:30pm) with Gabe (the service pup). I'm going to be a mess, but it's my favorite book so....

"Chaos Theory" with Ryan Reynolds. There was some stuff I couldn't buy (his aged makeup didn't look right.), but it was interesting how one thing threw off everything.

Iron Giant - Oh, man, I hadn't seen this in a while, and the opening scene of waves crashing to and fro looks great on a large flat screen! After that, the story opens with kind of a slow burn sorta way, which I didn't remember it being from the last time I watched it oh those many years ago. But it's charming, and I appreciate all the little details and inside jokes (e.g., Frank & Ollie) in it.
