My friend took me to see "Marley & Me" last night as a bday gift and jeeze, did I regret wearing makeup! I totally cried! So sad...But I loved the movie!
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE - It starts off looking very much like a movie I DON'T want to sit through, but as you get the hang of how it wants to unravel this story, you can't turn away. It really is quite well crafted together. I really wish the movie posters were done a little better... I had no idea what the whole movie was about until I actually sat through it.

Wasn't it good though? I had the same regret. And I was kinda' pissed by the casting (you'll appreciate this) because as a younger guy John looks IDENTICAL to Seth Rogen and I kept thinking "you don't look at Owen Wilson and think 'young guy' you think 'Peter Pan syndrome.'" But after watching it I really liked the choices they made.
Slumdog Millionaire - This will be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars so I felt I had to see it. The story was interesting and kept me involved, but India is not my favorite country. What is up with their government? Do they not care about their poor citizens? I was mad the whole movie bacause of the way these kids had to live. I'm afraid it ruined the story for me. And the dancing during the credits? Please! Do yourself a favor and run out of the theater the moment the movie ends. The dancing totally ruins the fantasy they were trying so hard to create. Must be a Bollywood thing.
Flowers in the Attic-caught it on cable, it's such a bad movie![]()
Knocked Up-Love this movie.

Seven- Creepy, creepy, creepy, yet I had to watch towards the end. At times engrossing, it does however show how far one religious hypocrite will go to rid the world of sin, but in reality makes people share his own pain. As for the climax- wow.
Hot Fuzz. A very funny tribute to action films. I could have done without the gory humor (about 3 or 4 scenes), but I admit I laughed at them. The action is simultaneously hilarious and genuinely exciting. I've never seen a shootout quite like the final showdown on the town main street - it's one of the funniest sequences I saw all last year.
GET SMART -- what is it with people saying this movie wasn't funny or that it dragged or whatever. THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT! I loved it. The cast was so enjoyable and I'm REALLY in love with Anne Hathaway now. She looks good in leather.

Sleeping Beauty
The new DVD looks great. Hadn't seen this one in awhile, but I did almost fall asleep. It could be the fact that I haven't had a full nights sleep in 2 weeks.

Harry Potter OOTP- Did anyone else notice that they use the spell Levi corpus? The same spell that Harry discovers written in his potions book? In book 6?
