Goldfinger - Very good but I was rather uncomfortable with the scene in which James seemingly rapes ***** Galore thus 'curing' her lesbianism. Not one of Bond's prouder moments.

    Um, let's see...

    This Island Earth
    Squirm
    Manos: The Hands of Fate
    and
    Space Mutiny

All of which were the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 renditions.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

You know, I originally thought I'd get this one on Blu-ray. But I saw this film again over Christmas weekend at my folks' place, and I remembered I wasn't that fond of it after all. I enjoyed Dr. No and From Russia with Love much more.

Yes, I did, and it annoyed me too, along with the scene where Dumbledore loses his cool and shakes and yells at Harry after he became a Triwizard Champion. In general, I was not particularly happy with this HP film. I felt it lacked some soul. So I'm less enthusiastic about seeing how director David Yates does on the last three (book 6 and book 7 part 1 and part 2) films.

Edited to add: Oops, I just realized the Triwizard Championship was in the Goblet of Fire not OotP, lol. Well, I'm still annoyed by that scene, and I still think OotP lacked soul.

I thought it was funny too! We laughed the whole way through.

Girl, Interupted - Caught this on a movie channel on TV and decided to watch it. Good storyline and good acting (Angelina Jolie won Best Supporting Actress) but I'm not too fond of movies about crazy people.

Gran Torino - Was not too thrilled to be seeing this one, but I want to catch all the Oscar nominees that I can. I must admit, I really liked this one. It surprised me on where it was going. The previews don't do this movie justice. And Clint is great as an old Dirty Harry type.

Charlie's Angels- I loved this movie. Drew, Cameron, and Lucy had great chemistry together to make this movie work.

    Just saw Bride Wars.
I thought it was funny and had a cute ending. Nice to see a funny PG movie out there, something I could take my little sister to, but still enjoy myself.

"The Day The Earth Stood Still" (the current release one)

Oh Lord, please give me those 2 hours back.

    Awful. Just awful.

Need to go watch the original Robert Wise version again just to get the bad taste out of my brain.

    Bride Wars!
Excellent in every way! So hilarious and refreshing in that not all of the funny parts were shown in the previews with the rest of the picture lacking. Anne and Kate make a great team!
