Have you ever walked out on a movie before?

Movies are getting a bit expensive lately. Have you ever walked out on one? What about rentals in your own home? Have you ever stopped watching one because it was just that bad?

I have only walked out on one movie before and that was The English Patient. I even read the book before hand and I still didn't understand that movie. Sure the scenery was incredible, but it was just too boring for husband and I. Then it goes and wins Best Picture at the Academy Awards that year. Go figure!

As for rentals, I had to stop watching Something About Mary. I know, I know, everyone loves that movie and finds it hilarious, but it just was not funny to me and I had to stop it. I felt the same way about Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin, but sat through those movies thinking it would get better. It didn't. At least not for me. Maybe I have gotten too old for that type of humor.

    So what about you?

I've turned off a lot of movies we're watching on DVD, but we've only walked out on one movie: The Anchorman. What a waste of money that was.

Only one -- LA Story. And that was because of my date.

Other than that I haven't walked out on any movies.

I've never walked out on a movie. I've turned off the dvd when watching American Pie, it was just really stupid.

Don't ever think I've ever walked out in the middle of a movie cuz I dislike, I always just suffered through it, usually because I'm with a buncha friends. "AvP-R" was the last one like that.

For DVD, I just couldn't get through "Borat". My friends loved it. I didn't get it and have never seen the last half.

People that know me would be surprised to hear that it would be Napoleon Dynamite for me. I didn't really walk out of it though because I wanted to see what the point was with the movie, and then it ended . . . um, so there was no point. Great, so I could have walked out and been a lot happier

Another one that I remember being so awful was Kung Pow, or whatever it's called. I remember seeing the previews to it and thought it looked pretty hilarious. When I went to see the movie, it got old within the first 10 minutes when it seemed like every voice in the movie including the females, were done by one guy as a crappy voice over bit, and yes I did walk out on it, as did half of the theatre

I have walked out of two movies, Get Shorty, we were with 2 other couples and one of the other couples kids got sick at home so all of us girls left the guys to watch it, none of us girls were getting into the movie anyways.

The other one was 'The New World', it may have been visually stunning to some but for me it was mind numbing.

Didn't walk out of those movies but they only lasted five minutes each in my DVD player. Crank and Miami Vice just barely got out of the gates before I turned them off.

My DH loves this movie, and I just don't get the attraction. Must be a guy movie.

I haven't walked out of a movie, but when my sister pops in one of the HSMs, Bring It On, or Legally Blonde movies, and she walks out of the room to get something, they go off.

Jurassic Park 3. That movie was shyteous beyond all reason.

My brother and his fiancee walked out on the Love Guru recently, but I don't understand why they would see a Mike Myers movie to begin with!!

Do you guys remember the movie, "Dave"? The movie about a fictional president?
Anyway, my mom bought the movie a long long time ago and watche dit all the time. My brother, dad, and I hated it so much that we had to hide it from mom and it's never been seen since. THANK GOD!

I also wish I walked out on Talladega Nights. Now that's pure stupid.
