Disney Garners 'Suite' Numbers Online

The Suite Life on Deck generated close to 800,000 streams,
while attracting close to 4 million unique users each day

The dual Web and TV premiere of Disney Channelís new spinoff series The Suite Life on Deck resulted in record viewership levels on Disney.com, according to company executives.

Last week, the first half of the pilot of the new 'tween-aimed series, a spinoff of the popular show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, aired on Disney Channel on Sept. 26. Immediately afterwards, part two of the episode was posted on Disney.com, nearly 24 hours prior to it would run on TV on Sept. 27.

Disney said that over a three day period (Friday through Monday), The Suite Life on Deck generated close to 800,000 streams while attracting close to 4 million unique users each day. On Saturday alone, the site recorded a record 87.6 million page views, said executives, and over the weekend the siteís Suite Life channel pulled in the lionís share of traffic.
