Hmm... what a tough question. Instead of trying to become a global conglomerate, I think I'd try and bring Disney back to the basics. I would probably try and think in the mindset of Walt Disney - - - what would he do? Do you think he would want a Disney brand toilet paper? Disney brand carrots? I think the over-marketing and commercialization has really detracted from the magic and uniqueness of the Disney brand.
I would invest a LOT more time and energy in to focusing on maintaining 100% consistency across the board in providing WORLD CLASS guest service.
I think that is definitely something that has began to fade away.
Also, if I were the CEO- I would have all the parks to myself at night - so I could ride the rides all night long with no lines! ! ! ( No, not really -- but a guy can dream, can't he?)
