    What movies are you watching?

So how about it, whats in your DVD player?

I have been going through a silent movie thing latley...

    I've been watching:

Dziga Vertov's Soviet experimental film "Man With a Move Camera" 1929

Robert Wiene's classic horror movie "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" 1919

Also just watched Werner Herzog's "Stroszek" 1976

And for fun I've been watching Richard Elfman's "Modern Vampires" 1998

Last night I needed the most inane movie I could think of, I went with Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Completely idiotic and lifted my mood instantly!

The original "House on Haunted Hill" starring Vincent Price. But what I really would like to see is "Zotz!", but sadly I cannot find it anywhere.

I LOVE that film! Chris went as Cesar one year at Halloween.

    Recently, we've been watching:

1960's Japanese Gangster Film Branded to Kill

Japanese Anime - Millennium Actress and Castle in the Sky

I've gotten a Bill Murray fix with Rushmore and Lost in Translation (for the 3rd time)

Bollywood knockoff of Jane Austin in Bride and Prejudice

And a Dylan Moran fix with Sean of the Dead

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the films in the cemetery: Sunset Boulevard, Strangers on a Train, Point Black, Night of the Hunter, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Sullivan's Travels.

Master and Commander. I keep rewatching and wishing for all the cool things Peter Weir left OUT of that movie. Because it didn't make enough money for any sequels, we'll never see the effects of the widow's gunpowder, or the cutting out of the Diana, or even the horrible old Leopard run aground on Desolation Island. OH! The things Peter Weir left out just break my heart, because there's never going to be a second chance!

I think the real coup of that movie was Russell Crowe as Captain Jack Aubrey; it's the best casting since Gregory Peck was cast as Atticus Finch. Some actors are just born to play certain roles, and Crow was born for Aubrey. Brilliant choice? Diamonds ain't in it. Peter Weir should have won the Oscar for Directing just for casting Crow in that part.

Last night I just watched Lemini Snickets. What a surprisingly good movie! Loved it. I still have the Notebook from Netflix's sitting at home that I need to watch.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - It was family movie night.

On The Town - Ali made Brian wait to start POTC so that she could see the end of this with me. She is a little musical fan in the making.

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind - I am glad I finally got to see it. Wonderful movie.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.
