CORPSE BRIDE animates Venice Film Festival

In Tim Burton's ghoulish but hilarious animation movie "Corpse Bride," the world of the dead is full of color, music and fun while the land of the living is black, white and oppressive.
For his latest film showcased at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, the director used painstaking "stop-motion" animation with models, setting it apart from the more common computer generation used in hits such as "Shrek" and "Toy Story."

Is this going to be another rendition of Nightmare before Christmas? I liked that movie but I hope not, I would like to see something new from Burton when it comes to stop motion films.

Question Re: CORPSE BRIDE animates Venice Film Festival

Why is WB releasing this and not Disney? Nightmare Before Christmas has become very valuable to disney over the years. Why wouldn't they pick this up. I was really dissapointed when I found this out. I was looking foward to seeing Corpse Bride throughout the parks around Halloween.

Re: CORPSE BRIDE animates Venice Film Festival

I have been a fan of Danny Elfman since he was with his first group, The Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo, and a huge NBC fan. I was happy to hear that Elfman was working with Burton again for Corpse Bride and was hopeing to catch a peek of some of the new tunes he has done for the movie, but am I the only one who finds it odd that all the music we have been hearing for the Corpse Bride has been the same music that was used in NBC?
