We are SO incredibly excited for the season to start. The kids have been asking about it for months now. I can't believe it's just one more week!! God, we love that show.

It's one of the only reality shows I really care about and love.

My friend was an editor on two seasons, and I got to attend the season finale and afterparty at CBS for Survivor: Outback. Colby is even cuter in person!!! I have a photo with him. Meeeeeeeeeow!!!

There are too many B names.

And Danni Boatwright is way too beautiful to be on the show. Unfair. I remember when she was in People as one of the Most Beautiful. I couldn't believe it when I saw her name. Ugh. I hope she's horrible.

But, with my luck she'll be wonderful and win cars and a million dollars. :sigh: She's a total tomboy type.

There are too many B names. I'm already lost.

    Re: Survivor: Guatemala

I guess it's time once again for the infamous "Moonliners Pre-Season" picks. Last season I went with Tattoo girl for first boot and Ian to go all the way. Way wrong on Angie but not too bad on the final pick.

So this year I'd have to say that Judd looks like a good contender for first boot however he lists his favorite board game as "candy land" which shows he has some sense of humor. While the clowns don't last too long they don't get the boot as fast as the ornery ones. I'm going with Lydia as the first boot.

To win it all, hummm 8 guys 8 girls, based on extensive research (ie the bios on the survivor web site) I'm going with Cindy to win it all.

Please feel free to bookmark this post and use it to humiliate me later in the season.

How can any of you even WATCH Survivor when there's the AMAZING RACE????

Survivor is nothing but junior high school without food. It's all about cliques, lying, cheating, stealing and it's always a jock or a cheerleader, if not both, who comes out on top in the end.

    I went to high school.

    I even taught high school.

Why would you want to watch it?

The RACE--that's about relationships under stress and thinking on your feet. Some people are awful, and some people are great, but at least it's not a popularity contest.
