Any update on the release of Song of the South on dvd?

I was under the impression that Song of the South was a possible release here in the States in 2008/2009. Any one know if that is still the case? or has it been shelved for good...

Someone hinted on that thread that it may come out next year. It's possile it may be a part of next year's Walt Disney Treasures line.

Thanks for that which says a release for 2009/2010. There was also a thread previously that said Fall 2008, early 2009. I'm beginning to think it's all wishful thinking that this film will ever be released here in the US.
