Re: Does Bob Iger have what it takes to become a good Disney CEO?

Not really, no... Toy Story 3 is being produced and directed by the guys that did the Three Muscateers? I think not much has changed...
The Three Musketeers was done by DisneyToon Studios. Toy Story 3 is being done by Circle 7 Animation (the team that will make Pixar sequels). This is an entirely different team.

How a film is created is more important than the script itself...
I'm going to have to disagree on this. I'd rather watch a movie with a good script rather than a bad script despite how it was created.

I am not shooting anyone down on speculation... I am just not hopeful that he is the right man for the job..
I can agree to disagree here. After all, only time will tell how good a CEO he will be.

And you say there is no evidence that ABC is not a focus of the company...

    Huh?
    1) What does anything I said have to do with ABC?
    2) I said that there is no evidence that ABC is the focus of the company.

Well, Circle Seven Animation is more likely named for the street it's on (Circle Seven Dr).

Edit: The street was renamed Circle 7 when KABC moved in. Nonetheless, it has nothing to do with ABC, but rather the street it's on.

Mmmm... AMAZING COINCEDENCE isn't it? Funny "DisneyToon Studios" isn't named after the street it was built on...

Do you remember what that street was named before?

Remind me again, what does this have to do with anything?

yes i have high hopes for bob iger..he need to take care of my company...eisner at first in his first few years but everything went downhill in the past years because the company became all about money. iger was in front of me in the churro line at disneyland by the castle..he seemed like a friendly guy. also a relative has met him many times and says he will take care of the company

Maybe, maybe not. I don't know what they would have done....I just know what they did do (naming it after Circle Seven Dr).
