Disney looking to buy EA? WSJ column thinks they should

I happened to be looking through a few headlines and I stumble across one that caught my eye just so. Rather than describing it myself I think it would be better to let the article speak for itself.

WSJ column speculates the Mouse might buy gaming giant.

Here is an interesting read mentioned in the above article. 5 Reasons Disney Should Buy Electronic Arts - The Motley Fool

Re: Disney looking to buy EA? WSJ column thinks they should

Actually, I don't have an opinion on this, one way or the other. But I do find the opinions from--shall we call them the game geeks?--interesting. Most of them being negative, as they regard Disney as being the "evil empire." Of course, alot of them regard Electronic Arts (EA), as being the "evil empire," as well. One of the objections to its purchase by Disney, is the fear that if Disney does purchase the company, there will be no more electronic games for adults. I guess which shows you how little some of them know about anything besides electronic gaming, as Disney has been making films for adults, under its Touchstone and Miramax labels, for a long time. And I presume if they do purchase the company, the company will continue to make electronic games for adults.
