She was and is. Emma Frost is a telepath and was a member of the Hellfire Club as the white queen. She is still a telepath but is now a member of the X-Men. She manifested a secondary mutation when Genosha was attacked by the Sentinels to basically turn into a living diamond. Her telepathy does not work when she is in this state. She was one of the few, if not only survivors of the Genosha Massacre.Quote:

Is this film being made with the intent of matching up with the previous three X-Men films? Is the Wolverine backstory that was explored in X1 and X2 going to work with the new Orgins film? Is William Stryker (played by Brian Cox) coming back - it didn't look like he was there?
I hope so. Otherwise, there's no need to attach "X-Men" to the name of the film.
Other than that, the movie looks okay. I was much more excited for this film before seeing the trailer, to be honest. It looks a little cheesy. I have faith that Hugh Jackman will be amazing as usual... but there's only so much Hugh can do to save this film.
Why can't Bryan Singer come back to rescue to X-Men franchise?

The intention is to make other origin stories from the X-Men franchise, such as Magneto, so that's why I would imagine it's there (to create a whole new series).Quote:
