    Old theme park ads

Anyone remember old theme park ads from "back in the day"? I'm talking radio/tv spots.

Magic Mountain back in 1976 used that song "Saturday, in the park, everyday's the 4th of July" showing people walking around the carousel, eating cotton candy with the trolls and the Wizard, as well as the newly opened Great American Revolution.

"Knotts, where the West turns wild. WILD!"

"Disneyland, Disneyland. Come and live it, once again. It's the happiest part of growing, growing up."

"The new Matterhorn. It can only happen at....Disneyland"

Ooooh! Those song way cool. I wish there was somewhere where these could be seen.

The only Disneyland Ad I remember from the not-so-recent past was the one made in the late 1980s where they changed the lyrics to Rivieras/Ramones song "California Sun."

I love the old WDW new tomorrowland slogan:

"The future that never was.... is finally here!"
...a vaguely celtic music fills the air...
