What TV shows are you watching this season?

We haven't watched much TV in our house in the last few years since cancelling our cable. We watch a lot of TV on DVD and movies in the evenings usually.

But there are some shows we never miss, like Survivor, CSI, Arrested Development, etc. More than we'd like to be addicted to, definitely!

Thursdays in the past were the only night I ever really watched TV. Then last year with Arrested Development, Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal/Grey's Anatomy, I found myself staring at the tube for 2.5 on Sundays.

This year, it looks worse for me!

    Sunday: Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy
    Monday: Arrested Development
Tuesday: Gilmore Girls, The Amazing Race, My Name is Earl, The Office, Boston Legal
    Wednesday: Lost, Invasion
    Thursday: Survivor, CSI, ER

Plus, I'll always watch a Law & Order, if they're on (and when aren't they? ) And any British sit com on PBS. I them.

I've never watched Gilmore Girls (one or two eps here and there, but that's it), but I have the first three seasons on DVD to watch. By the time I watch all the seasons, I'm sure the show itself will be off the air. But since I'm watching shows after it (Amazing Race, etc.), I may as well watch it this season!

Re: What TV shows are you watching this season?

My viewing has been going through a bit of a transitional preiod the last couple of seasons. Many of the shows I once watched religiously have left the air and/or I've lost track of them to the point of losing interest. Last season got me addicted to several new shows though so I already have my calednar marked for the returning shows that I must continue watching: Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatony, Lost, Smallville. There are a couple of newer shows I wouldn't mind checking out, but I don't know if I'll squeeze them in or not. I already tape many of my shows for later viewing due to working 2 jobs. The problem then is finding the time to watch the tapes!

I take it you probably watch "Are You Being Served" too. My mom watches that show every night. I'm not into it though. Mr. Humpreys is a bit funny though.

Re: What TV shows are you watching this season?

    Desperate Housewives
    Extreme Homemakeover
    LOST
    The Apprentice
**The Sopranos** if it ever starts again
    and
    David Letterman EVERY NIGHT!

There are a few new shows I may check out but unless they're on during a time slot that suits me I probably won't watch.

I get kinda frustrated watching Extreme Makerover Home Edition. They always build these way over-the-top mansions... But I gotta tell ya, I get sucked-in and I always stick around to see final results.

    I'm a Law & Order junkie
    Also any football game
Plus, my wife thinks I watch way too much of the History & Discovery Channels.

The host of Discoverys "Dirty Jobs" is very sarcastically funny. I think he is cool. My dad watches a lot of History channel too. I like Mail Call with R. Lee Ermy. He is soooo funny when he answers fan mail.

Monday-Monday Night Football, Two and a Half Men and Las Vegas(flip back and forth), CSI Miami. But come January, it's all about 24!!

Tuesday-I'm stuck on this day. I watched Supernatural and it was awesome. I love Amazing Race, but this season doesn't look that exciting. Families? C'mon. And I do love my buddy Jason Lee, so I will want to watch Earl.

Wed- Still Standing and Yes, Dear, LOST, and most likely CSI:NY

Thursday-Survivor, CSI, ER. And I'm gonna have to tape Smallville. Too bad it moved to Thursdays at 8. Now that Lost is on at 9 I could have easily watched this season with no conflict.

Lost is the only I will actually plan to during the week. Occassionally Gilmore Girls if I remember.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"
