It definitely is Cyclops, or is it???

It certainly looks like it could be, anybody in the X-men universe that could be mistaken for Cyclops??

As for James Marsden, sad that he's now a big-time star and they probably would have had to pay him too much to do the part. Although, an X-men Origins:Cyclops would be HIGHLY bankable right now with Marsden.

the character is appearing as a youngster.

Supposedly they filmed a bit of storm as a toddler but then cut it out.

Cyclops' appearance in Wolverine was reported in advance several months ago in a UK movie magazine.

This is the problem with a lot of comic book adaptations. They try to stuff too many characters in the movie. I don't think he is a big part of the movie, but still. I guess i can see why they want to do it. If X-men Origins: Wolverine is a success, then they will follow up with a Cyclops or Storm movie. I just hope they don't water it down with all the characters.

I LOVE Masden. Have since Bella Mafia. He was a fantastic Cyclops. But, I understand why they wouldn't have him in the part if his character is younger.

obviously, I havn't seen the movie, but in my head the slim scean is as follows...

Logan and Silverfox dancing at a high school dance after Logan messed up the past. Sabertooth is playing the guitar on stage. As the happy couple whirl around the dance floor, They slam into a teenaged Scott Summers. Scott goes to fight him, but his friend holds him back and says "Let it go! You'll probably never even see him again!".....

    And so it begins!

    P.S. *NOT a summers fan....ick!*
P.P.S. but james marsden is darn hunky

I don't agree in this case. This was more of a bone thrown at fans and those who would pick up on it. For the rest of the audience it would have gone unnoticed.
