Sydney & Vaughn waltzing to Once Upon A Dream - heaven!
Such a beautiful song:
Written by: Sammy Fain and Jack Lawrence
Performed by: Mary Costa [Briar Rose], Bill Shirley [Prince Phillip], Chorus
[Briar Rose:]
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
Yet I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you do
You love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
But if I know you, I know what you do
You love me at once
[Prince Phillip and Briar Rose:]
The way you did once upon a dream
[Prince Phillip:]
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
[Chorus:]
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you do
You love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream

Great Episode!!! This looks to be a great season.
Vaughan can't really be dead ... can he?
My opinion is that he really isn't dead. I think they just had to "kill" him so that his enemies would think he isn't a threat anymore. This would be the only logical way to make him safe. just my 2 cents

I'm with you! After years of watching the show this would seem very much in character for these characters. This is a quote from Jeff Pinkner, one of the show's Executive Producers' from USA Today yesterday, "There have been a lot of rumors, and virtually all of them are unfounded. Whatever you see on Alias is often not what it appears."Originally Posted by DLCM

^ Yeah, I think we all know that what we see is certainly not what we get on Alias. That's what's so great about the show.
Also, I think this thread should be moved to the Entertainment section. We can't be the only MCers that watch this show.
Thread moved, not merging this with the other thread yet, one can have spoilers and one can be spoiler free if you all like.Originally Posted by sir clinksalot

I don't think we need 2 Alias threads ... This one should be enough.
Kevin Weisman on Alias
Source: Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith October 4, 2005
Alias co-star Kevin Weisman, who plays Agent Marshall Flinkman, disputes the notion that new cast mates Rachel Nichols and Élodie Bouchez will be taking over for soon-to-be mother Jennifer Garner.
"Rachel and Elodie are definitely involved, but they're not the main focus," the actor tells columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith. Balthazar Getty is a newcomer this season as well.
Weisman tips that yet more changes are in store on the show as the season unfolds. But big changes are typical of Alias, he points out. "We totally destroyed the entire set during the second season, and all of a sudden we were working for the CIA. Every year there are big things the writers like to establish. This year it just happens to be that she's pregnant."
In related news, the character Michael Vaughn (played by Michael Vartan) has been completely removed from the official website. Did he really meet his fate in the first episode of season five or are the producers playing tricks on us?

I'm not sure if I would watch Alias if Jennifer Garner were not in the show.
Not only is she extremely HOT, but it's her show. It would be like having the Drew Carey show without Drew Carey. Just wouldn't work.
I agree completely. I'm just gonna through an idea out there... what if.............Drew Carey replaced Jennifer Garner? Eh? Eh? Whatcha think?Originally Posted by sir clinksalot

I don't really care much for Alias, but I liked this episode. Looks like I might have to watch a bit more of it this season...
Honor those who fall under the sword.
But pity the warrior who has slain all his enemies.
