    Drag Me To Hell

I know so many people went and saw Up this weekend, and it was a tough choice, but I chose scary over sweet and went to see Drag Me To Hell with my daughter.

It was a lot of fun! I'm betting you know just by the title whether it's your type of film or not, and if it's your thing, I highly recommend checking it out.

Alison Lohman plays the role of a sweet ex-farm girl spot on. She's very likeable and you just want her to be OK. The creepy old gypsy woman is certainly creepy and old, and may well enter the pantheon of my favorite horror-movie villains. Sam Raimi really laid it on thick with the cartoony violence (if you've seen Evil Dead 2, you know what I mean). My only complaint is that it was a little bit loud. There are lots of jump out at you moments that might not have been so frightening if they weren't so loud. Whatever, it worked! It's a hell of a fun movie.

No Bruce Campbell, I'm saddened to report. Still a pretty fun ride.

Drag me To Hell sounds like one wild flick. The title is so blatantantly violent sonding that it's strikes me as hilarious. I did see up this weekend...now you've got me all motivated to drag myself back for a hell of a time.

    Re: Drag Me To Hell

I saw this tonight - It was awesome! easily one of the best horror films i've seen. over the top, creepy, and very fun to watch.

the gypsy woman did an excellent job as the villain, I agree. I saw the actress that played her in an interview and she looks so... normal!
