Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
Am I right...in assuming, that this story actually takes place after the first story? Is this kind of like...a revisit to Wonderland? I've been picking up various tid bits here and there...and it seems, this Alice is later on in her life, and is dodging an engagement. Somehow, she makes it back to Wonderland. Is that correct?
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
Hatter looks...well..he looks..........like kinda scary , but to my brother "why r u looking at hobos?!" I'd have to agree he does looks like a hobo.
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
Movie looks great. As of now, it is my most anticipated film for next year. Johnny as the Mad Hatter looks creepy and crazy, but the costume and the make-up fit him. I guess that's what happens when you play in a number of different roles.... you get into any costume and it somehow fits you.

The only thing I've been getting is this story takes place after the first two. (Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.) Alice is in her teenage years.

Awesomely creepy! Tim Burton is a strange guy, but I like his films. These characters would make a great holiday overlay at DL for Halloween, like the Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Haunted Mansion. It would certainly jazz up the current Alice In Wonderland attraction.
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
wow yea he looks scary but johnny is amazing in any role he does!!
i cant wait to see it
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
creepy but I LOVE IT Alice in Wonderland is creepy and extreme so this fits right in OFF WITH there HEADS
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
LOVE it! The two characters that are bothering me the most are Tweedle Dee and Dum (if you haven't seen those pictures, Google is your friend!) just because they're GIANT compared to Alice.
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos
The art of going to be AMAZING in this movie! Although Johnny as the Mad Hatter scares me a little bit... I am still going to see it...
Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland photos

All in all, I'm seriously creeped out by these photos... so I'm guessing that's a good sign? :)
If you go to dailymail.co.uk (tv a nd showbizz link) , they have pics of Tweedle Dee/Dum and a few far away shots of Alice.
Then I'll have what he is having lol. :))

This is what I'm afraid of, and I wouldn't put it past some of the great minds at TDA to come up with something like this. The two versions are like oil and water...the current Disneyland attraction is based strictly on the animated version. If Johnny Depp shows up ANYWHERE in that attraction, Halloween or no, World War III will break out between the hard core Disney fans and management.

Yes. Capt. Jack in POTC is one thing. That's the ride, adapting to the movie based on the ride.
But I'd have to draw the line at such inclusions into the Alice attraction as described above.
It'd be kinda like watching old Batman TV reruns, and seeing Jack Nicholson or even Heath Ledger's Joker, or Halle Berry's Catwoman. Just not the right fit, at all.
And if they release the movie for the holidays, just think of the next line of Burton-related merchandise sales at the parks...
