Oh wow, and it will be available in 3D, I didn't know that!

I know, that is one of the things that is so exciting about this! I am sure this film will be FAR more loyal to the feel Carroll gave the story than anything done before. I mean, Tim Burton's style is PERFECT for Carroll's! They are a match made in heaven!
I don't think I've ever been so excited for a movie. And that includes Harry Potter and Twilight movies!! And it scares me because I hope that I am not setting myself for disappointment, ya know?

Am I evil? yes, I am
Am I evil? I am man, yes, I am
Actually, I wanted to use the word "blah" instead of dark. It doesn't love alive enough for me. The dark wash they have over the whole movie (as in the color)isn't my thing. I have loved plenty of TB movies in the past. I was just surprised I didn't love this one at first glance.
Wow, those high def trailers are amazing! I didn't even realize they showed the White Witch in the teaser until I saw these!
Squeeeeeeee!!

"Won't you please be my prisoner, please, please, please!"
"I do not like the cone of shame"
"Oh! A ball! Oh boy! Oh boy! a ball!!"
"Hey, I know a joke! A squirrel walks up to a tree and says, "I forgot to store acorns for the winter and now I am dead." Ha! It is funny because the squirrel gets dead."
"I hid under your porch because I love you."

Looks great. This definitely fits Tim Burton's style. My first impression of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is better than when I first saw him as Willy Wonka.
Very much looking forward to this. Seeing the hi-def versions I caught on to some great little details. Take a look at the ornate hall scene (1:00) Aside from the amazing mural of the gryphon and the red queen atop the Jabberwock, note that the chandelier is not hung from the ceiling, but is supported by struggling birds. The candelabra are not on stands, but are held up by miserable looking monkeys. Great touches showing the Queens evil rule. I understand that many may not like Burton's style, but he and those he works with especially in set design and costume usually take things to the nth degree and really give me my money's worth.
Wow, this looks amazing. Out of all movies coming out next year, I am looking forward to this one the most. I should probably read the two novels before I go to see it though. I know that this film takes place after the books, but I would still like to read the novels for the heck of it.
4th Trip To Disneyland: June 28th-June 30th!
As the Mad Hatter, Johnny Depp looks like a macabre Joker from a recent Dark Knight flic. Holy unbirthday to me, Batman!
To Boldly Go Where No MiceChatter Has Gone Before!
Just got goosebumps. I can't wait to see it on 3D.
