Wow, this looks excellent. The casting alone is terrific right off the bat. I'd always wondered if Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire would ever do a film together, seeing as how they do resemble each other. Perfect casting this time around, I'd say.
And the subject matter - on point and very timely. This looks to be one impressive film.

It looks like they borrowed a little bit of the story from Pearl Harbor. you know, buddy gets killed, other buddy gets buddy's girlfriend. In this case just replace buddy with brother and girlfriend with wife. Now excuse me while I do a big yawn...

At first I thought, wow this movie looked quite good yet depressing. Then The Great Mc***** himself comes back from the grave and ruined it for me with his bitching and chipmunk voice.

I like Tobey Mcguire and honestly this looks really different from any other role hes ever played.. Way more involved and intense, i think he could definitely get an oscar for this one...
Here's a good review of it... It really praises Tobey Mcguire's performance...
I don't usually go for these kind of movies; but, I kinda want to see this one.
But no Jerry Bruckheimer and no Ben Affleck = WIN!!!
This movie looks really cool. And looks like it's got something for everybody. Jake and Tobey for the ladies. Cool fighting and Natalie for the boys.
