I would search YouTube. Pretty much that is your best shot.

Honestly it wasn't that good at all. Some stuff was directly copied from last year (and the years before that).

The only thing I've learned after watching the show is how bad Kelly is at reading a teleprompter.

Regus couldn't make it this year. I'm guessing health reasons? Not sure.

My advice would be to see if you can find the clip of Anika Noni Rose performing "Down in New Orleans" at NOS in Disneyland, and skip everything else...unless you're a fan of Disney Channel shows for tweens and toddlers, and promotions thereof .

Youtube might be your only chance now I am sure someone posted it there already. ABC usually doen't rebroadcast it.

Regis wasn't there this year as he is recovering from his recent hip surgery.

The Princess and the Frog bit from DL was great! Thought it was funny how it was edited though, one second Anika Noni Rose is singing in New Orleans Sq surrounded by crowded with a shot of the river boat in the distance, cut to next scene where she was on the boat. The two Celine Dion performances from the Grand Floridian Hotel Lobby were very good also, if you like Celine. Though I am not a big Jonas Brothers fan I did like the opening act, they performed on the new temporary stage set up in the hub. Being surrounded by audience members from the castle to the hub the crowd did a flash mob/dance thing, thought that was cool even despite the performance by the Jo Bros. Same stage was later used by American Idol winner, Chris Allen, which I also enjoyed. The parade portions were recycled from previous years shows, but I like them so I can't complain much, I go to WDW every year to see it anyways.

I didn't even bother with it this year. I'm not a fan of ANY of the performers this year and it's the same tired parade I've seen every year for the last 20+ years. Man I remember when it used to air LIVE and they showed more than 20 minutes of parade and the performances were of a higher caliber. I loved it when they focused on the PARKS, not appeasing the tweeny-boppers.

My daughter and I were there the day they shot this sequence (Nov.8 - my birthday). They did it in four segments. First very early in the morning (we weren't there for that one) they did the shots of her on the balcony and then coming out and beginning her walk. When we got there mid morning they were filming the two dancers looking toward the river with the Mark Twain coming into view (it got a big work out backing up and coming forward that day). Then they moved us around to the back and had us stand along the street. Pretty soon they shot the scene with her going and sitting next to Cheryl Burke and then getting up and moving forward, dancing a bit with whoever the guy dancer is and Cheryl and him beginning their dance. In that segment my daughter and I are in the background. Then they told those who wanted to to move down to the River for the filming of Anika Noni Rose on the Riverboat. At that point my daughter and I had had enough of take after take after take and moved on to something else. So, yes it was shot out of order and at different times of the day and then edited. But I agree that this segment was probably the best thing in the whole show. Anika Noni Rose is beautiful, even in person.

Here are a few photos I took:

They were filming the dance sequence when we first got there:

Then they moved us around and filmed Anika Noni Rose again. Cheryl and the extras sat at this table and Anika came up to them.

My daughter just happened to dress vintage/retro that day and sort of "fit in" to the look. Here she is in the white sweater with some of the extras

It was kind of fun and we got excited seeing ourselves on TV even if it was only for a moment.

Thanks for sharing your experience and photos Wendygirl, those are great! I have been to the taping since 2003, except this year and last, at WDW and usually find myself in the crowd. I have been able to see some great performances over the years you just have to endure the waiting and multiple takes LOL.

The only time I watch this show is to see if I can spot me and my brother on tv.

I also recorded this in HD on my computer. I have no plan to pose it up due to copyright issues. I am willing to pose it up, but I am afraid that it will get pulled out and I might get my account suspended.

My wife and I both commented on this during the parade. She is an awful host (and looked like a scepter zombie. truly terrifying).

There were also a few of the tilt shift videos from the Disney Parks blog shown during the parade, so that's another way to see a missing piece of it.

Honestly, it really was disappointing this year. Too much performing, not enough parade, and when they did show the parade portions, they talked over it and you couldn't hear the music, let alone they changed the camera angle too many times to focus on anything anyway!
