I was watching Snow White the other day, and it occurred to me - wouldn't it be wonderful to see it on the big screen? Heck, wouldn't it be great to see Lady and the Tramp or Pinocchio on the big screen?
Well, maybe there's a way. It'd be neat - and beneficial to Disney, I think - if it would show a "Classic Disney Moment" before their major films. Such as, the "Silly Song" scene from Snow White, or "He's a Tramp" from Lady and the Tramp, or "There Are No Strings On Me" from Pinocchio. Just to remind people of what Disney used to be, and why people loved it so.
Heck, Disney could show scenes from the Silver Age, like "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin. Or use an even more recent scene - from Phineas and Ferb, Disney's first really successful TV toon. There's a lot of music in that series; I'd pick the song "Gitchy Gitchy Goo" - it's a great, catchy fun song. By showing the public these little scenes, it would generate good will, truly entertain people, and be cheaper than creating new shorts (and that project seems to have fallen by the wayside anyway).
Anyhow, it's just a thought...
