Last week Disney unvieled its new lines of toys for 2010 at the 2010 American International Toy Fair in New York, and its looking like Disney is going to dominate the toy market this year. Items that were shown included:
Over 250 new Toy Story 3 toys and games (including Toy Story Barbie, Toy Story Ken, and the first plush toy to join the Toy Story Franchise, Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear).
Dolls and a fairytale tower playset for 'Tangled'
Alice In Wonderland is going to have series of Tonner and Barbie Collector dolls, Costumes with accessories and USAopoly games.
For Video Games expect the following:
Toy Story 3: The Video Game will be available on Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox360, Sony Playstation 3, Windows, Nintendo DS and Sony Playstation on June 15. Also coming soon from Disney Interactive Studios is a new Toy Story 3 app for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Disney’s newest massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, The World of Cars, is expected to launch later this year.
Pixie Hollow Online will soon introduce animal friends. Players will want to monitor their animal friend’s hunger, health and mood.
Updates to Club Penguin, Toontown Online and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The biggest story though has to be about Fisher-Price's 'Dance Star Mickey'. Mikey will sing and dance to 6 different songs and can even Moonwalk. He will also be able to play various games with kids like 'Mickey Says'. The release date for Dance Star Mickey' is October and will retail for around $70.00.
