I first reported that Disney was considering a Domestic Parks pass back in February in our In The Parks blog. At today's shareholder meeting, they confirmed the pass along with a reasonable $700 price tag:
Disney Chief Executive Officer, Robert Iger, at Disney's annual shareholder meeting in San Antonio, Texas today:
For DVC members and those who love to travel, this will be a great convenience and cost saver. As a long time passholder of both Disneyland and Disney World, I'll be signing up right away. The "Premiere Passport'' will go on sale Thursday and provides access to all U.S. parks with no blackout dates. . . The price will be $700 and will cover the Florida and California locations.
Here's a nice write-up about the new pass, including an interview with your's truly, from Sarah Tully of the OC Register: http://ocresort.freedomblogging.com/...s-parks/37063/
