What Question would you ask Iger about any part of the Disney company?
With the Disney shareholder meeting taking place this morning, and hearing the Q & A session, I wonder, if you could have asked Iger a question at todays shareholder meeting, What would you have asked him???
Re: What Question would you ask Iger about any part of the Disney company?
It's too late now, but I just read your interesting question. For me, it would be a toss-up between Disney Channel (why they don't leverage the full, older library, which is leaving money on the table) and Consumer Products.
I think I'd go with DCP, and phrase my question as: "Disney Consumer Products is one area of the company that has really struggled in the past decade. Sales of Disney products at the retail level are actually below the levels of the late 1990s and very early 2000s, before Andy Mooney was installed as head of the division. Why has Disney Consumer Products had such difficulty monetizing the core Disney characters, and what is going to be done about this under-performing division in the next few years?"
It's all academic, but that's the question I'd ask!
