Echo and the Bunnymen along with New Order would be good too.

I had on a long black morning coat and black pants and shirt with a bow tie. I had my hair all sticking up, kind of Robert Smith style. And I had my make up just like Danny's, but I forgot to put on my horns until the show started.

Actully it was a pretty cool outfit considering I had to put it together in a day. Luckly I am just weird enough to own a morning coat. Oh yeah I also had on white gloves and spats! Were you there BTW?

No, I was here in Vegas. I had actually forgotten about that concert. I'd only heard about it once.

    What are spats?

Damn! I'd love to see Echo and the Bunnymen again! The last time was around 1981 or 2 at the Whisky.

New Order was at Coachella this year but I didn't ssee them play. I can't stand the fact that they do Joy Division songs. They are NOT the same without Ian's vocals.

The Cure was at Coachella the previous year and it was a sad sad sad show. I was actually embarassed for Robert Smith.

Bauhaus, which I saw on Friday Night was still INCREDIBLE!

Sorry, late 70's early, early 80's punk stuff just is too familiar.

Damn.. I was just about to say The Police.

Besides the Oingo Boingo concerts I've been to, the other outstands concerts that I have seen are:

Echo and the Bunnymen with New Order and Gene loves Jezzabel

New Wave day at the US Festival

Berlin with OMD and the Thompson Twins

Amniesty International with Sting, Brian Adams, and U2.

    Depeche Mode Black Celebration tour.

    INXS with PIL

Re: Bands you would like to see get back together

I like some of these, and I have a few more to add:

Genesis (How could I forget my 2nd favorite band ever!!!!)
The Smiths (or even just Morrissey)
The Police (But Sting would try to bring in his solo stuff I'm sure)
    Soundgarden
    Smashing Pumpkins
    Rage Against the Machine
Guns n' Roses (ONLY if Axl could get his S*** together)
    Public Enemy
