Tim Burton goes from Alice to Honest Abe!

In the wake of Alice's release and looking over a clay-mated third Addams Family movie and a prequel to Planet of the Apes; Tim Burton has prompted to team up with Wanted director Timur Berkmambetov, who already collaborated with Burton last year for 9, to produce a twisted reworking of the 16th president: Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter.

A live-action adaptation of the runaway bestseller by Seth Grahame-Smith, author of the parody novel hit Pride & Prejudice.....and Zombies (what is also getting a movie staring Natalie Portman).

The film is in pre-production with a projected 2012 release.

But before that he still has Frankenweenie which should start shooting soon.

Seems like someone is trying to overload their workload. As much as I love Burton's film, he's trying to do too many things IMO.
