Do you watch any televised holiday parades?

Do any of you like to watch holiday parades on television? Which ones do you like to watch?

I usually watch Macy's Thanksgiving day parade and any christmas parade. I like seeing all of the cartoon characters. How about you?

Nope. I'm usually sleeping when they air.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

I usually watch bits and pieces of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I also watch Disney's Christmas parade and if Disney has a float in the Rose parade, I'll try and catch that segment.

I love to walk around the floats the day after the parade, but for some reason I cannot watch an entire parade on tv. The Macy's day parade must be pretty exciting for those who live in NYC. My favorite parade used to be the Doo-Dah Parade, also in Pasadena. It has been televised a couple of times...

I used to go to the Doo-dah parade when i was younger, fastpass. Though, over the years they seem to just get raunchier and just lame.

I work right on the parade route for the rose parade. Prime viewing from my building.

We have our own parade here in San Jose for Christmas every year. We attend the parade downtown because my son is in it, (the school has taken 1st place in the awards for the past 3 years now. Yeah!) We record it so we can watch it when we get home to see things we missed.

We of course also watch the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade, the Christmas day Parade and the New Years day parade. They are a fun way to spend family time with hot cocoa and cinnamon buns curled up in blankets.

Usually I try to catch the X-mas Parade on ABC since it always just puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day. Same goes for the Rose parade. One thing I have to do is to actually see the parade live. I went to the float viewing they had a few days after the parade a few years ago and it was truly impressive.

I like watching the Macy's parade when the wind blows away the baloons.

Other than that we watch the Rose Parade.

Yes, I get up early the watch the entire Macy's parade. that's my tradition.
I usually watch some of the Rose parade.
That Doo Dah parade ties up traffic. Annoying. I almost ran a group of them over last year.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
