No 'Chicken Little' - Kids see suicide - New York Daily News

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/stor...p-309144c.html

A Times Square movie theater laid an egg at a showing of "Chicken Little" last night.

Adults and kids expecting to watch Disney's G-rated animated flick at the AMC Empire 25 theater on 42nd St. were instead presented with a foreign film that opened with a young man committing suicide.

"It's pandemonium," Joshua Gallo, 30, told the Daily News as he rushed out of the theater with his 5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. "The kids are crying. The mothers are screaming for the managers to stop the film."
Terrified children didn't know what to do as they watched a young boy hang himself from a tree at the 8:45 p.m. screening.
After five minutes, "Andrea," a Spanish drama opening today, was turned off and "Chicken Little" was played.

The AMC should release a statement stating it was AMC's fault not Disney, cos even if it is too late to stop bad publicity for Disney, the least they can do is make it known it wasn't Disney anyway.

As traumatizing as this must have been for those involved, I can't help but find this somewhat amusing. Guess I'm just a little bit twisted and this just sounds like a scene out of a wacky comedy. One question though... What are you doing with a 5 year old and a one year old at an 8:45 PM showing?! Shouldn't they be in bed by then?!

Sounds like some sort of episode of 'South Park'. Yikes what a screw up!

1 YR old, okay thats a little to young but my 5 yr old that seems certainely feasible.

I don't get home from work until 6:00-6:30pm so we would hit the 7-8 show.(Assuming that's a Friday) She has a bedtime during the week but on the weekends I let her stay up. Usually though if its the weekend we normally go to the 5 oclock showing, not the 7.

If I followed the bedtime rules for every day of the week we would never go to WDW.
