I first read this as Pixar doing Dr. Strangelove. Now I'm kind of disappointed (even if that would have made zero sense whatsoever.)

Dr. Strange does seem like a character that would work better as an animated film. Plus he's not widely known outside the comic world, which leaves a lot less baggage for Pixar to deal with in the end.
