Animation Art for DreamWorks New Animated Feature Megamind

First look at new collectible art from the upcoming Dreamworks film, Megamind



I'm not a big collector of non-Disney animation items but over the past few years I've become a fan of DreamWorks' humorous and well animated pictures. I just ran across some artwork from the upcoming new film, Megamind, (which are part of a product release from DreamWorks Animation Fine Art collection) and it has me really looking forward to the new film.

I'm not sure that I'll jump in to buying one of the limited edition collectibles, but I'm thinking about it. I'll probably make up my mind after seeing the film. I'm not so much an impulse buyer as I am a collector of things I love.



One thing I found interesting is that the new Megamind collectibles are limited to just 50 pieces worldwide. For us Disney fans, that is a very limited release indeed. I like the idea of owning something that thousands of other people don't also have.

The images all feature one or more of the three stars of the film: Megamind, Metro Man and Minion - the ape-suited fish who’s Megamind’s closest (and only) friend.



The film opens in theaters nationwide on Nov. 5.
