Donation Supports St. Jude's Thanks and Giving Campaign


Target guests will find a million
more reasons to love Disney DVDs this holiday season. Together, Target and
Buena Vista Home Entertainment are making a $1 million contribution to help
the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Developed to support St. Jude's national Thanks and Giving fundraising
campaign, the $1 million donation will be used to assist researchers in their
diligent search for breakthrough discoveries that lead to life-saving cures
every day, for children in every community. Target encourages guests to share
the magic of Disney DVDs with the kids in their lives this holiday season in
honor of the $1 million donation.

the Thanks and Giving campaign again this year," said Laysha Ward, vice
president of community relations, Target. "The research taking place at St.
Jude is saving lives and inspiring hope, and our partnership with Disney

Target has been a partner of St. Jude since 1999 when it opened Target
House, an innovative approach to long-term housing for families whose children
are receiving life-saving treatment at St. Jude. Funded by Target and its
vendor and celebrity partner contributions, this unique facility enhances the
quality of life for its residents, who benefit from the privacy of family
apartments, as well as common areas that foster interaction with other Target
House families.
