The teaser trailer for Jon Favreau's Cowboys and Aliens has been released.

This is how you make a trailer; you introduce the main characters andyou do not show off the big reveals. Notice they did not show us the aliens. For a film that could have been really goofy, they seem to be instead making a serious film. A film that will treat the western and sci-fi genres well.
I'm really iffy about this one, and most of the time this stuff is just better on paper. In this case, a comic book but the teaser makes this upcoming film feel the void of never seeing a Wild Wild West meets Wars of the Worlds.
The cast is the main attraction for me, from Daniel Craig and even Harrison Ford who lead a posse that includes Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine, Noah Ringer. Along with Spielberg not loosing his grasp of sci-fantasy films but hey. This could produce one cool attraction at any Universal Studios theme parks, no?

I'm actually looking forward to this one. It doesn't look like it is trying to be something it isn't. Like a drama or romance or anything. Looks like it's just a pure action film.

Saw this trailer at DH tonight and everyone in the theater burst out laughing when the title came up at the end. Is it supposed to be funny? Looks ridiculous!!
Oh please, pleeeeeeeeeease let this be good. Harrison hasn't been in a really good movie since What Lies Beneath.
But Bond and Indy together again (sorta) how can you beat that?
I thought this movie looked awesome, but people were laughing at it during the trailer in the theater.
