    Re: 2011 Super Bowl ADs

Hollywood is really banking on the Super Bowl this year, check out the laundry list of films that are worth over $3 million per second...

    Battle: Los Angeles
    Captain America: The First Avenger
    Cowboys and Aliens
    The Eagle
    Just Go With It
    Kung Fu Panda 2
    Limitless
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
    Priest
    Rango
    Super 8
    Thor
    Transformers: Dark of the Moon

No doubt Transformers will blow them all out of the football field =)~

    My past favorites....

I waited out front at CityWalk Cinemas Hollywood for The Lost World to open at midnight, and it was very fun & cool because Universal decked out the whole area in jungle theme. Had the Mercedes ML-320s cars, and the massive Fleetwood Southwind Storm camper. As it turns out, the film crew that was there filming, can be seen on the special edition DVD 'Beyond Jurassic Park' where it features the only only behind the scenes of the film. Can see me screaming "T-Rex", LOL

    Re: 2011 Super Bowl ADs

It's worth a repeat but it look like there's still a whole bunch of love for Transfomers but its a close race with Caption America, and Pirates may be on it's last battleship.

EW did a poll, which movie Super Bowl TV ad are you most looking forward too?

    As a few minutes ago...

'Captain America,' 'Transformers 3,' 'Super 8,' and other big movies will have Super Bowl ads: Which are you most excited for?

Question: What’s more American than the Super Bowl?

Answer: A handsome buff dude wearing an American flag and fighting Nazis, of course! Which means this year’s Super Bowl telecast on Feb. 6 will feature the most patriotic commercial in TV history. (Sorry, Daisy.) According to the Hollywood Reporter, Captain America: The First Avenger will debut its first official trailer during the Super Bowl. But that’s not the only big movie that will be prominently featured on the most-watched program of the year. Fellow Marvel superhero Thor will also appear, along with a threequel (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), a fourquel (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), a pair of gonzo westerns (Cowboys & Aliens and Rango), and J.J. Abrams’ latest mystery project Super 8. And also Limitless, the Robert De Niro/Bradley Cooper magical-drug project. (One of these things: Not like the others!)

Movie trailers are one of my favorite parts of the Super Bowl, second only to beer commercials. (The football can be fun, too.) Personally, I’m most excited to finally get an extended peek at the Captain America movie. But which of these trailers are you most excited about, PopWatchers? Take the Super Bowl Movie Preview poll after the jump…

    Re: 2011 Super Bowl ADs

    Official list has been announced
Super Bowl commercials 2011: preview, schedule(video) –If you don’t want viewing the Super Bowl XLV commercials “spoiled” before the “big game,” then don’t watch any of the clips or previews that are now appearing online. If you’d like see a sneak peek, though, we found one of the best sites to watch several of the full ads coming up on Sunday, besides preview clips of others.

The Business Insider Sports page has 24 video clips of Super Bowl 2011 commercials and ad previews. The page includesa humorous ad for Volkswagon called “The Force;” Homeaway’s “Minister of Detourism;” GM Chevy’s “Bumblebee;” and Go Daddy’s new ads.

Commercials this year will also be presented by Doritos; Cars.com; Careerbuilder; Hyundai; both Coca Cola and Pepsi; Audi; Bud Light; Bridgestone; Snickers; E*Trade; and several movie studios.
It is not cheap to run a commercial during the Super Bowl. With up to 100 million viewers during the Sunday broadcast, the network covering it can command a top price – this year, that price is said by several news outlets to be $3 million for 30 seconds of air time. That does not even include the cost of producing the commercial itself, or paying public figures to appear in it.

Here is a broad schedule of the commercials scheduled to air before, during, and after this year’s Super Bowl XLV game. Though it is not specific as to during which quarter a commercialwill air, it does tell you how many commercials per company there will be and how long they are:

    • Justin Bieber: Never Say Never [Paramount](Glee)
    • Take Me Home Tonight [Relativity Media](Glee)

Most people watch the Super Bowl for the game, which is this year played between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Many others, however, watch for three entirely different reasons – to see who will sing the National Anthem (this year, Christina Aguilera); to watch the half-time show (this year performed by the Black Eyed Peas); and to view the funny or controversial commercials that will likely be talked about at work or school on Monday.
Super Bowl XLV coverage begins on at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX, Sunday, February 6, 2011.
