As do I. And it's about 10 years too late. Regardless of the presence of a scantily and tightly attired Theron, it's gonna blow.

Okay, looks like things got a bit fluxed up and the screening was cancelled for tonight, moved to maybe later in the week.

    Wow, good news...
    Stuart Townsend Boards Chaos Theory

Stuart Townsend has joined the cast of the romantic comedy Chaos Theory for Warner Independent Pictures and Castle Rock Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer already have boarded the Marcos Siega-helmed film, which is being financed by Fred and Erica Westheimer's Lone Star Film Group.

Written by Daniel Taplitz, the story centers on a compulsive organizer (Reynolds) who decides to live his life without planning and in the process discovers love with Mortimer's character. Townsend completes the love triangle playing Buddy, the best friend of Reynolds' character who also falls in love with Mortimer's character.

Went to see Harry Potter today. That film is absolutely gorgeous and very well done.

Saw the trailer for Aeon Flux. Looks like another typical "tough chick" film. Pass.

While I loved the animated series, I am another who thinks this movie will blow.

As I had other plans, I sent my friend & her date to the rescheduled event last night.
Her review of the film - this is the best part:
Aeon's (CHARLIZE THERON) Hero Black Cat Suit w/ Boots

This hero movie costume is from the film "Aeon Flux." This cat suit has an intricate and detailed woven fabric design in front and back. The boots are sewn into the leg bottoms and have 3" heels. This outfit was screenworn. Aeon (CHARLIZE THERON) can be clearly seen wearing this costume throughout the majority of the movie. Several of these cat suits were made and used during filming. This is easily the most recognizable costume from the film.

This incredible outfit was custom designed and made by the studio specifically for this movie! Authenticity is guaranteed!

It's release day and they were hardly ANY early screenings for critics...

The videogame industry does this when they want to get a crappy game to consumers before critics can rip it apart and send it instantly to the bargain bin...

It's an MTV movie, I would hope you didn't expect much. The series was amazing, but I think it's too little too late for this, next thing you know we'll be getting a full-length live action The Maxx film (PLEASE DON'T!!!!)

I don't think it'll be THAT bad, but no where near good. At least that's what I'm hoping.

the movie industry does the same thing, which is what was done here.

Oddly enough, there are those like Harry Knowles that actually liked the thing.

As I said before about the movie -- even if the MOVIE sucks, at least it was an excuse to finally get all the TV episodes on DVD.

Well, I took a look at the reviews on Yahoo, and it doesn't look good. Critics have given it a D+

    Re: AEON FLUX: the movie

I saw it and was suprised at much it didn't suck as much as I thought. It's definitely a "smarter" popcorn flick, but it's still an MTV film, and still a popcorn flick. And yes, it could have been so much better, I think they did a decent job with what they had. My only problem was the extreme close-ups of some of the fights, I know it's to make it look a lot more violent then it really was, but I still think they could have done a much better job with it and the editing seemed a bit frantic at times not deciding what it wanted to show us.

I would recommend this to those looking for a fun action movie to waste a saturday afternoon on.

    Re: AEON FLUX: the movie

I had forgotten about the Flux series until I saw the preview for this movie. I'm a little surprised to see they made a movie out of it. I liked the mtv shorts back in the 90s but I wasn't a huge fan or anything. Is there an Flux following that I didn't know about?
