The Fantastical Worlds of Tim Burton
May 27 - June 18
In conjunction with LACMA's exhibition, the Film Department will present a retrospective of Tim Burton's films, from days in Disney's animation department up to his latest blockbuster. A major commercial director whose work always bears the inedible stamp of his distinctive style—a potent mélange of dark whimsy, fairy tale form and wondrous design—Burton stands apart.
