The original came out over 15 years ago. Time for a reboot.

Well, it might be time to "break the rules" again, in a big way this time. Save the new little owner from something.

Pixar nailed every original movie they did. Seeing them go back for a sequal every time now is concerning AND discouraging. Yeah, Toy Story 2 and 3 were great but it just reeks of laziness.

I hope they don't. I felt that Toy Story 3 was just more of the same to some degree.

The emotional turmoil of being separated from ones' owner was done perfectly in TS2, and the third movie didn't really do anything different or better IMO.

Don't get me wrong, TS3 is a wonderful movie, but the concept is played out. More shorts could be fun, but a fourth movie would be overkill.

Oh I've got an open mind, I just feel that TS3 ended on the absolute perfect note. Simple, pure, unadulterated cinematic perfection. Time to just walk away from arguably one of the best films and film series of all time.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I hope not. As much as we all LOVE the Toy Story films and characters, its almost embarassing to throw out a movie with a 4 on it. Its like an obvious push for money, marketing etc.

Re: Toy Story 4(Oh no!) Say it aint so

Toy Story is easily one of the greatest trilogies and overall solid film series. The 3rd one ended on such a perfect emotional note. The movies really are about Andy's relationship with his toys. Now that they're not Andy's toys, I imagine anything they do after would just be more of the same. I seriously hope this does not happen. While I saw Toy Story 3 at midnight, I would not even waste my money on Toy Story 4. As others said, it seems like a cheap money making scheme.

Re: Toy Story 4(Oh no!) Say it aint so

To clarify, did Tom Hanks actually ever say he words "toy story"? Because the rumors were that he and Tim Allen would co-star in a Jungle Cruise movie, so which movie is actually referenced?

As much as Toy Story 3 was amazing, I just don't know about a 4th movie. And I suggest they will continue the storyline with Bonnie I believe, but there could be some new ideas. I mean, it doesn't have to be a carbon-copy of the original does it?
