The Rocketeer: 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray
Re: The Rocketeer: 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray
Wahooooo! This will make bank for Disney! Can't imagine this won't sell very well on Day 1. Thanks for the heads up!
Re: The Rocketeer: 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray
We all know how Disney is with their anniversary editions (i.e. the recent Fox & the Hound 30th Blu), so I'm not expecting a lot of new extras. Just looking forward to a good transfer, great picture and great sound.

Boy, I hope the image looks solid. I'm just happy they didn't completely ignore this movie. I was just taking Disney to task on my show a few weeks ago when I talked about The Rocketeer for not releasing it on Blu-ray. Maybe now some younger folks--and I say this despite being under 30--will embrace the movie like I did when I saw it.

If you liked Captain America, you'll like this one. Both are comic book movies,
both are directed by Joe Johnston, and both take place during the WW2 era. And a bonus... no CGI in this one. Still practical effects. It has the feeling of the first 3 Indiana Jones movies.

I most likley will but I can rent it from Blockbuster first and if I like it get it when its on sale, my guess is Disney wants strong sales in this and Captain America and they'll reboot the movie
